Dr. Christensen is a Pediatrician at Pediatric Care Medical Group, Inc. (PCMG) in Huntington Beach. She completed medical school at the University of California, Irvine and followed her passion for treating children by completing a three year pediatrics residency training program at UC Irvine as well.  During residency, she worked at UCI Medical Center in Orange and Millers Children's Hospital in Long Beach as well as their associated clinics.

Dr. Christensen then joined PCMG and is currently an active staff member of both Hoag Hospital and Fountain Valley Regional Hospital.  Dr. Christensen is a member and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the local AAP chapter.

Dr. Christensen has been a Huntington Beach resident for over 10 years.  However, she grew up in the Pacific Islands of Tonga and American Samoa and speaks the Tongan language (a Polynesian dialect)
fluently.  Dr. Christensen came to the U.S. mainland to earn her bachelor's degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.  She is married and has two children.

Dr. Christensen finds it a pleasure and an honor to care for children from newborn to adolescences. She has special interest in sports medicine and also participates in many clinical research trials at Surf City Research Center.  In addition, Dr. Christensen is active in many local Huntington Beach community events.
